Braverman: Barak's conduct towards US damaging security
Minister for Minority Affairs Avishay Braverman (Labor) attacked his own party leader, Defense Minister Ehud Barak Sunday. "Barak's conduct is damaging the values of the party and his strategy is damaging to Israel's security versus the US," said Braverman at the opening of the weekly government meeting.
Braverman repeated his threat to resign from the coalition if the Labor party committee wouldn't vote to support direct negotiations with the Palestinians. (Attila Somfalvi and Ronen Medzini)
