Syrian source denies reports of breakthrough in negotiations with Israel
A senior source in Damascus denied reports in the Kuwaiti al-Rai Newspaper, which claim that over the past few weeks there has been "an unprecedented Syrian response" to resuming peace talks with Israel. "the report is baseless" claimed the senior source who denied publications alleging that Special Middle East Envoy Dennis Ross promoted the negotiations while holding talks in Syria. (Roee Nahmias)
