Report: Ahmadinejad's car gets $1 million bid

An Iranian state-owned newspaper says the president's 33-year-old car that he is auctioning off for charity has received a $1 million bid from abroad.

The Sunday report by the Iran daily says various bids from abroad have been received by the multilingual website set up Saturday for the auction. The paper reported that the top bidders will be invited to the auction, which will be held in mid-February. (AP)
