Government approves Gaza vicinity aid plan
The government approved Sunday a NIS 184 million ($51.87 million) aid plan for the residents of Sderot and Gaza vicinity towns and cities. The move is meant to strengthen the economy and local authorities and support social organizations.
During the meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel wasn't interested in an escalation in the Gaza strip, but didn't fear it either: "Anyone who will try us will discover our complete determination and will suffer the consequences." (Attila Somfalvi)
