Gov't extends law preventing Palestinian-Israeli family reunification

The Knesset's Political Security Cabinet has extended the temporary family reunification law, which prevents Palestinians married to Israeli citizens from immigrating to Israel, by six months.

The ministers asked Justice Minister Yaakov Ne'eman to complete the family reunification clause in the immigration law as soon as possible, in order to "protect Israel's long term security and national interests on the matter." (Attila Somfalvi)
