US, Qatar sign agreement to cooperate in war on terror

US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and her Qatari counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani signed an agreement to expand cooperation in the war on terror. Napolitano, who is visiting Doha, said that the agreement serves as a warning to those threatening to commit terrorism around the world.
The two nations also agreed to tighten security in airports, and to work together to prevent smuggling and money laundering. (AFP)
