Trial of soldier accused of manslaughter halted due to probe
The trial of staff sergeant S., who is accused of manslaughter during Operation Cast Lead, has been halted until the Investigating Military Police concludes its probe into a suspicion that his commanders tries to cover up the incident.
The military prosecution said the probe was irrelevant to the soldier's trial, but did not oppose the request, which was accepted by the Military Court. (hanan Greenberg)
