Israel arrests 2 UK consulate workers in Jerusalem

British authorities say two local staff members at the UK consulate in Jerusalem have been arrested by Israeli authorities.

The Foreign Office spokesman says it believes the two maintenance workers are being investigated on suspicion of illegal weapons sales, but that it is seeking confirmation from Israel. He spoke on condition of anonymity under departmental protocol. (AP)
