Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Palestinian President MAhmoud Abbas Tuesday and expressed his condolences over the death of Abbas' brother Atta Abbas in Damascus.
"My condolences, I sympathize with your deep pain and hope that you will never experience such grief in the future," Netanyahu said and added that he expressed hope that together they would be able to promote the peace process. "We are neighbors and I wholeheartedly believe that with joint efforts and goodwill we can promote real peace between our nations," Netanyahu said. (Attila Somfalivi)
