French President Sarkozy visits Washington Jan 10

US President Barack Obama will meet with French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the White House on January 10 on issues including the global economy and security, the Obama administration said on Tuesday.

"As France assumes the presidency of the G-8 and the G-20 for 2011, the president looks forward to working with President Sarkozy to sustain the global economic recovery and create jobs," the White House said in a statement. (Reuters)
