US to consider Israeli request to free spy Pollard
The White House issued a statement on Tuesday saying they will review the letter sent by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling to release Jonathan Pollard, an American Jew jailed for 25 years in the United States for spying for Israel.
Earlier it was reported that Netanyahu sent a letter to US President Barak Obama. (AFP)
