Europe ups security for Copts amid online threats

Metal barricades now surround the church of St. Mary and St. Mark outside Paris, a sign of stepped up security for the European diaspora of Christian Copts following online threats by Islamist extremists that have injected a dose of fear into their season of peace.

While preparing services to honor the 21 Copts killed in a New Year's Day massacre at a church in their Egyptian homeland, Copts in Europe are also protecting themselves. (AP)
