EU foreign minister to visit Israel: 'No alternative' to talks

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton is to meet with senior Israeli and Palestinian politicians Wednesday and Thursday to promote the peace process. Ashton said earlier that the efforts to reach peace must be urgently advanced, noting there was no alternative to a solution based on negotiation. (Attila Somfalvi)
