Netanyahu to victims' families: I know the pain, aware of magnitude of loss
Following the protest of the Carmel fire victims' families during a State memorial service Wednesday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he was aware of the pain and loss felt by the families.
According to Netanyahu, that was the reason that led him to hold the event and to speak before the families to begin with. "I know the pain and am aware of the magnitude of the loss and the empty space left in the lives of the bereaved families," he noted. During his speech, family members of the Carmel fire disaster victims demanded that Interior Minister Eli Yishai be removed from the event and called Netanyahu a "liar". (Attila Somfalvi)
