Lieberman to Ashton: When Gaza arms smuggling ends, so will siege
Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman met with EU Foreign Policy chief Catherine Ashton Wednesday where among other things, he addressed the situation in Gaza: "I can assure you that the moment the arms smuggling to Gaza ends, so will the siege," he said.
"Close cooperation between Israel and the EU can end the smuggling and terror against Israel, removal of the siege and even the release of Gilad Shalit," Lieberman added. (Ronen Medzini)
