Seven fans of the soccer team Beitar Jerusalem, who shouted racist remarks during last Saturday's match, were called to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for a debate on whether to order them to keep away from games.
Six of the fans agreed not to shout such remarks for the next year and a half. Four will be fined NIS 3,000 ($845) and two NIS 2,000 ($563). The seventh was released because he had not shouted such remarks, but only encouraged his companions. (Yair Altman)
