AG: No wiretapping in probe into PMO leaks to press
Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein issued a clarification that wiretapping was not used in the investigations into information leaks from the Prime Minister's Office.
Before the investigation began, the notice said, the Shin Bet chief and staff held a debate to ascertain the regulations governing an investigation of this kind, during which it was explicitly noted that wiretapping was not to be employed. (Aviad Glickman)
