PM: Proud to be first premier to give money to Diaspora Jews
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday attended a Taglit conference in Jerusalem and said, "I am proud to be the first prime minister to adopt an initiative to give money to the Jewish people in the Diaspora.
"During my administration I've doubled the project's budget to some $100 million. This will allow some 50,000 Jews from across the globe to come to Israel every year," he said. (Yair Altman)
