Chile recognizes Palestinian state

Chilean President Sebastián Piñera ratified his country's support for the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 border, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported.
On Wednesday, Chile's parliament voted unanimously in favor of a resolution recognizing Palestine as an independent and sovereign country, joining Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Ecuador, which have already made similar declarations. (Ynet)
