The Israel Defense Forces Spokesperson's Unit expressed its regret over the killing of a 66-year-old Palestinian during a detention operation in Hebron.
The army said in a statement that Central Command Chief Avi Mizrahi had ordered an officer holding a rank of brigadier-general to launch a swift investigation into the incident. (Hanan Greenberg)
