Thousands at funeral of Palestinian man killed by IDF
Thousands of people, including senior Fatah and Hamas figures attended the funeral of 65-year-old Amr Qawasme, who was shot during a detention operation in Hebron on Thursday night.
"The Israeli occupation committed a stupid act when it arrested a number of detainees who were on a hunger strike and killed a man with 13 bullets while he was sleeping in his bed," said Hamas member Aziz Duwaik, the speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council.
