Southern Command chief promises 'to handle' mortar launchers

Southern Command Chief Tal Russo arrived at a kibbutz in the Shaar Hanegev Regional Council where three agricultural workers were hit by Mortar shells earlier Saturday. Russo said that the "army is currently handling the even on the operational level," and noted that those behind the attack "shall be dealt with."

Russo also addressed Friday's Gaza border incident in which Sgt. Nadav Rotenberg was killed by friendly fire and said: "The incident is being investigated and soon we shall receive answers." (Ilana Curiel)
