Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi was quoted on Saturday as saying he was doing whatever possible to help resolve the case of two German journalists jailed in Iran without undue delay.
The two Germans were arrested while interviewing the son of an Iranian woman sentenced to be stoned to death for adultery. "Rest assured, both Germans will be treated fairly... we are doing our best to resolve the case," Salehi said in an interview in the German newsweekly Der Spiegel released on Saturday.
