Cabinet okays funding for emergency services
The cabinet approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's proposal to allocate NIS 800 million towards Israel's emergency services, including NIS 350 million for the fire services.
Interior Minister Eli Yishai said the decision "is the basis for the fire services' next fiasco." (Attila Somfalvi)
