IED explodes north of Jerusalem; no injuries reported

An improvised explosive device exploded near a track used by the security forces south of Ramallah. The device, apparently made of a gas canister concealed within a burning tire, seems to have been intended to harm security forces, but no injuries were reported and no damage was sustained.
