Galant appointment appeal: Judges criticize State conduct

The High Court judges hearing the appeal against the appointment of the soon to be Chief of Staff Yoav Galant Monday criticized the State's conduct in the affair.

The judges reprimanded the prosecution for giving false information in a previous hearing into the matter. The court announced that it would present its decision at a later date and asked that additional details on the 'land affair' be handed over by the State. The appellants claimed that Galant illegally took over State lands in the town of Amikam where he lives. (Aviad Glickman)
