Palestinians say soldiers shot farmer from observation tower
Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the Palestinian farmer who was killed from IDF fire, was shot by soldiers stationed in an observation tower at the other side of the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun.
According to the reports, Sha'aban Kharmut was transferred to a hospital in Beit Lahiya in critical condition, where he died of his wounds. Gaza media agencies claimed IDF soldiers unexpectedly opened fire at a group of farmers that were working in their fields. No further details were given. (Roee Nahmias)
