Sheshinski: Committee conclusions won't hurt Tamar funding

The chairman of the committee charged with investigating the issue of gas and oil, Professor Eytan Sheshinski, said that the recommendations it put together "balanced the various considerations".

He noted that there was no basis to the allegations that the committee's conclusions would damage funding for the Tamar drilling venture. He added that "since the alterations we are adding aren't valid on previous income – they aren't retroactive as they only affect future income. (Avital Lahav)
