Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Tuesday with Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz, Professor Eytan Sheshinski, and Yitzhak Tshuva of Delek regarding the Sheshinski committee's recommendations on the issue of oil and gas tax policy, including a recommendation to increase the royalties being paid to the State by the gas companies.
The discussion centered mainly around the funding issue of Tamar drilling venture in light of the new tax policy. According to participants, the meeting was 'intensive and comprehensive'. The PM promised to look over the material and reach a mutual decision. (Avital Lahav)
