Lebanese leader says no deal on Lebanon

A Lebanese leader says regional powers Syria and Saudi Arabia have failed to reach a deal to help solve Lebanon's political crisis.

The regional initiative had been touted by Lebanese and Arab leaders as one of the brightest hopes to defuse the crisis. The tension stems from looming indictments by a UN court for the assassination of former Lebanese prime minister that will likely target Hezbollah members. (AP)
