Livni calls for civilian protest against government

Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni called for the start of a civilian protest against the government's policy. According to Livni, "The good and bad news is that this government is operating under pressure, so there is a chance for a change.
"The civilian protest requires our backing and we are at your service. We cannot succeed without people taking to the streets, so we must join forces and hit the road," Livni said during an emergency Kadima meeting against the increase in petrol prices." (Ynet)
