Late Polish President Lech Kaczynski's presence aboard the plane that crashed in Russia last April may have led to the crash that killed him and 95 others, Russia's aviation officials said on Wednesday.
"The main passenger's expected negative reaction" to a recommendation not to land "placed psychological pressure on crew members and influenced the decision to continue the landing," Tatiana Anodina, head of Russia's Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC), said at a press conference presenting the final report on the crash.
