Knesset approves 'J'lem bill' in preliminary reading
The Knesset approved in preliminary reading a bill defining Jerusalem as a first grade national priority area which will provide it with benefits. Thirty-nine MKs voted in favor and seven opposed.
"The bill will help the city's residents of all sectors, particularly the young ones, in purchasing apartments, finding work, and opening businesses," MK Uri Ariel (National Union) who initiated the bill said. (Roni Sofer)
