Amir Peretz leaving Labor, joining Kadima

Knesset Member Amir Peretz, formerly Labor party chairman, is planning on running for the Kadima party in the next Knesset elections, Ynet revealed Thursday. Many of his activists and supporters registered for the Kadima party in recent months in order to prepare the groundwork for Peretz's move to Kadima.
Sources within Kadima claim that MK Eitan Cabel (Labor) has begun to shore up his supporters in preparation for a move to Kadima ahead of the next elections. (Attila Somfalvi)
