Malaysia police: Surgery removes 137 drug capsules

Police say surgeons removed 137 drug capsules from the stomach of an Iranian who suffered severe abdominal pain while trying to smuggle the drugs into Malaysia.

A district police official said the man told officials he felt ill after his plane landed at Malaysia's budget carrier airport south of Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday. (AP)
