GPO apologizes for security check during PM's speech

Oren Helman, director of the Government Press Office, apologized for a journalists having felt humiliated during a security check ahead of a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this week.

"Obviously, we did not invite journalists to offend them," Helman said, expressing his regret over some journalists' decision to leave the press conference after being forced to undress. (AFP)
