A suicide bomber killed two and wounded eight, five of them seriously, in the volatile Dagestan province Friday, police said.
The bomber walked into a cafe in the western town of Khasavyurt in Dagestan, regional police spokesman Vyacheslav Gasanov told The Associated Press. The town borders Chechnya, where two conflicts with the federal government in Moscow fueled the rise of Islamic militancy in the region. (AP)
