Assad, Jumblatt meet in Damascus

Syrian President Bashar Assad met in Damascus with Druze leader Walid Jumblatt to discuss the poltical crisis in Lebanon, the Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
According to the report, the two discussed the "necessity of being aware of the dangers of foreign intervention, stressing that the decisions and solutions must remain in the hands of the region's people, stemming from their interests." (Roee Nahmias)
