Erdogan demands apology from Germany

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has demanded that German Chancellor Angela Merkel apologize for criticism she had launched at his country over its brawl with Greece regarding Cyprus.
Earlier, at a conference with the Cypriot president, Merkel said that in contrast to Greece, Turkey was not attempting to solve the dispute over the island. (AFP)
