Report: New Gilo construction project waiting for approval

A new construction project to build 1,400 homes in Gilo neighborhood in east Jerusalem will be presented to the city's local planning committee next week. If approved, it will be brought for the approval of the regional committee.
"It's an attempt to confirm the killing of the peace process," accused Jerusalem City Council member Meir Margalit. "It seems someone in the government thinks Obama is weak and that now is the time to promote such provocative plans." (Ronen Medzini)
