Border Guard inquiry file dismissed from lack of evidence

The Police Investigation Unit dismissed an inquiry into the death of Ziad Jilani, an east Jerusalem resident who was shot by Border Guard officers eight months ago, after they claimed he tried to run them over.
The police concluded that there was not enough evidence to continue with the investigation. The family of Ziad Jilani claimed that the shooting was unjustified. (Aviad Glickman)
