The name of the man shot Sunday night in Haifa has been released as Benny Hesse 67, Director of the Ashkenazi Hevra Kaddisha in the city.
The police hadn't received reports of threats against Hesse in the past. The initial investigation revealed that the shooter lay in waiting for Hesse outside his home on Sinai Street in Haifa. (Ahiya Raved)
