French president seeks int'l cooperation over Lebanon's political crisis

French President Nicolas Sarkozy called Sunday on countries with ties to Lebanon to pool their efforts and establish an international forum that would help Lebanon overcome its government crisis, a statement from the Elysee palace revealed.
The Elysee statement revealed that Mr. Sarkozy was seeking support from Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, Qatar and the US. (AFP)
