Lebanon's state-run National News Agency says the country's top Christian religious leader has resigned and is waiting for the Vatican to approve his walkout.
The NNA reported Sunday that Cardinal Nasrallah Sfeir resigned several months ago. No reason was given for the resignation. (AP)
