Barak fails to update senior Labor ministers on split

Ministers Binyamin Ben-Eliezer, Isaac Herzog and Avishay Braverman were surprised by the report that Defense Minister and Labor Chairman Ehud Barak plans to split from the Labor Party.
The ministers estimated that Barak decided to split along with four other MKs in a bid to avoid quitting the government. (Attila Somfalvi)
