Minister Herzog: Barak's desertion will enable us to revive party

Minister Isaac Herzog commented on the retirement of Ehud Barak from the Labor party, saying: "This is a day of positive change. Barak's desertion will enable us to revive the party and bring it back to social action and real political vision.
"I am staying in the Labor party in order to lead it. I will join new and fresh forces and will turn it into a viable political alternative," he added. (Attila Somfalvi)
