MK Yachimovich may contend for position of Labor chairperson

MK Shelly Yachimovich commented on Chairman Ehud Barak's split from the Labor party and hinted that she may contend for the position of the new chairperson.
"I will do everything in my power so that the Labor party becomes an alternative once again," she said, adding, "It is a corrupt and opportunistic move meant to protect Barak's seat in the government. (Attila Somfalvi)
