Police commissioner says farewell to Chief of staff

Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen said his farewells to senior police staff and Chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi on Monday. "I can't remember a time when there was such a close interface between the IDF and the police," Ashkenazi stated, "and such a wide variety of day to day and emergency events on both the home front and Israel's borders.
"The cooperation between the IDF and the police is an operational and national essential in light of the complex strategic reality," he added. "The IDF cannot defend the home front without the police force." (Yair Altman)
