Published: 01.17.11, 19:17 / Israel News

Two people were lightly injured during another eviction by police forces at the illegal Bedouin village of al-Arakib, in the Negev. A policeman was injured by stones cast at him. Police forces responded with paint balls and arrested five locals and leftist activists.

Meanwhile, the Negev Coexistence Forum Dukium accused the police of acting violently towards those present, and called the Jewish National Fund to halt afforestation work in the area. (Ilana Curiel)
