Defense Minister Ehud Barak avoided addressing his resignation from the Labor Party during a Nablus visit: "We are heading for a new direction but this isn't the place to discuss those issues. I'm here to pat these soldiers on their backs and shake hands with their commanders."
In response to recent publications of new findings in the Yoav Galant land affair, which is putting his appointment as Chief of Staff in a month into question, Barak noted that "all things will become clear at the appropriate time". (Hanan Greenberg)
